Applications: MOLFERRUM™ FA is an iron compound used primarily in pharmaceutical and nutritional formulations to prevent and manage iron deficiency and iron-deficiency anemia. It is formulated into tablets, capsules, syrups, oral liquids, chewable tablets and powders to provide bioavailable iron and support normal hemoglobin formation and red blood cell production.

1 Description It occurs as brown to deep brown colored, fine free flowing odourless powder.
2 PH Between 5.5 to 7.0.
3 Loss on Drying Not more than 10.0%.

(A) Ferrous ion (on dried basis)
(B) Ascorbic Acid (on dried basis)
(A) Not less than 13.5% and not more than 15.5%.
(B) Not less than 78.0% and not more than 87.0%.

PACKAGING

MOLFERRUM™ FA is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside, and is provided with a barcoded label and a tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. Preserve in tight containers.
